I took my 2021 Trek Marlin 7 out for its first ride and the chain had fallen off. Then it skipped gears once or twice, but it was something easily solved on my Shimano Deore M5120 Derailleur, and something I should have checked before even taking it for a ride. I bought into the Shimano XTR hype and upgraded the shifter to improve my 12-speed setup. This video shares my experience using the new XT or XTR shifter, and why I chose to downgrade back to Deore. I am very happy with my current setup using Shimano SLX SL-M7100 shifter. SLX SL-M7100 I-SPEC: 🤍

Resenha do Grupo Shimano Deore M6100 de 12 Velocidades Coroa Única. Transmissão de entrada da Shimano 12v que promete ser um ótimo upgrade para sua bicicleta. Fiz a importação dessa relação da shimano e separei para fazer com você o unboxing, a resenha e a instalação dele na Bike da Dani que é uma Sense Impact Factory com quadro Boost. Caso queira dar uma conferida na loja que fiz a compra, o link esta aqui! 🤍 A Linha de 12 velocidades da shimano tem uma diferença para os demais grupos da marca. Uma das primeiras mudanças que notamos é no Cassete Deore CS-M6100 que tem ótimo escalonamento e seu menor cog é de 10 dentes e o maior de 51 dentes. Top de mais! Em Seguida temos uma mudança no pedivela que anteriormente usava parafusos para fixação das coroas e agora passar a ser direct mount. Deixando um visual muito top na bicicleta, o modelo que veio nesse grupo foi é o Deore FC-M6100 com coroa de 32 dentes. No grupo também tem o Cambio Deore RD-M6100 com tecnologia Shadow Plus que mantem a corrente da bike mais estável, enquanto transpõe lugares com muita trepidação. Seu novo design e projeção do eixo do cage, agora permite trabalhar com cassetes de até 51 dentes, deixando mais leves para os ciclistas que adoram uma boa subida no mountain bike. Uma das maiores mudanças que foi super necessária, mas que pode ser uma baita surpresa na hora de instalar sua transmissão de 12 velocidades da shimano é o Freehub. Que era comum ser usado o Padrão Shimano mas conhecido também como Freehub HG, que suportava transmissões de 8, 9, 10, 11 e 12 velocidades e passa a usar um novo padrão, o Freehub Micro Spline para comportar o menor cog do cassete que é de 10 dentes agora. E nessa hora deve ter uma atenção extra, pois se não tiver pensado nisso antes, na hora de instalação da relação da bike terá um gasto extra. Pode precisar mexer na roda da sua bicicleta toda, trocando cubos, raios além do serviço da montagem. Não podemos esquecer da Alavanca Deore SL-M6100 de 12 velocidades, super leve, com tecnologia Rapid Fire Plus que da pra subir três marchas com um único movimento, além do Two Way Release que da pra deixar as machas da bike mais pesada tanto empurrando quanto puxando a alavanca.
