Fujifilm X-H2s is a competent camera for stills and video. I have had one for a week for testing. In this video, I discuss my first impression of Fujifilm X-H2s. The lens ai had was the Fujinon XR 33mm F1.4 WR lens. ⭐️📷 1on1 sessions: 🤍🤍ajatuksiavalokuvauksesta.com/webstore ⭐️📷 Support my free content: 👉 Buy Me a Coffee: 🤍buymeacoff.ee/PeterForsgard 👉 🤍paypal.me/peterforsgard 👉 Join my Facebook Group: 🤍🤍facebook.com/groups/PeterForsgardYoutube/ My Channel membership is now open! 👉 Join: 🤍🤍youtube.com/channel/UCkctXInfNh0Zf4p93itIVhw/join Get a Hoodie! 👉 🤍peter-forsgard.creator-spring.com/ ⏱Timestamps 00:00 Intro 00:12 Disclaimer 00:55 Look & Feel 03:14 Usability 06:06 Menu system 11:03 Video Features 08:57 Film Simulations 09:39 Conclusion 10:45 Watch Next 🎼Music and SFX from 🤍🤍epidemicsound.com 🤍🤍artlist.io ► Affiliate programs I am in: ► Cameras and Lenses: 👉 B&H Photo: 🤍bhpho.to/36rubIY 👉 Laowa lenses: 🤍🤍venuslens.net/ref/602/ 👉 Mitakon lenses: 🤍zyoptics.net/?ref=PeterF ► Filters: 👉 H&Y Filters: 🤍hyfilters.net/?ref=PeterF ► Software: 👉 Excire: 🤍excireeu.pxf.io/P069xe 👉 Excire Inc.: 🤍excireinc.pxf.io/AoXK6o 👉 Topaz Labs:🤍topazlabs.com/ref/644/ 👉 DxOLab: 🤍tidd.ly/3l31ho8 ► Other: 👉 Smallrig DE: 🤍🤍smallrig.com.de/?ref=da5F4KsC 👉 Smallrig: 🤍🤍smallrig.com?afmc=4a5 Getting something from these links supports my channel. Have you looked at the XS20 as a comparison to the OM5
I returned to this video after your latest video and looked again into Fujifilm. It's very popular around me a lot of people love the system, but for me, the biggest issue is lens selection. They don't have the analogue of the 1.2 primes as a quality/size and not to mention lenses like 12-40 and 40-150 f/2.8 PRO, I just can't find what I can use for my documentary or event work.
What made me decide for Olympus versus Fuji when I had to chose a new camera was the aspect ratio. I used 4x5 and 6x7 film cameras for a long time and felt the 2x3 ration too narrow for my way of composing images
Good to hear your view on this but why is the upload only viewable at 480p?
I appreciate the disclaimer but I doubt they lent the camera for free expecting something other than a very favorable review.
It's why the most-trustsd reviews are from those who pay retail for their gear - like the rest of us.
The only thing that would bring me to Fuji is the aperture ring. The bigger the sensor, the bigger the lenses. Thats physic.
Watch the language Pete! 😂😂😂
Nice camera BUT Panasonic Lumix S5IIX is far superior!
I will always be a fan of yours Peter! All the best from Oulu, Finland.
480p?
This video is at 480p !
Does Fujifilm has any lens comparable to Oly 25mm F1.8? Maybe comparing the size of those two would be useful?
HELSINKI
One day, maybe you could test the OM-1 and the X-T5, with the same focal length. I'd like to see if a crop from the X-T5 can match a full frame image from the OM-1. Not just in terms of quality but in terms of rolling shutter. It could be interesting!
I don’t understand your logic regarding the size of hdmi cables/ports
Hi Peter. Any chances you becoming a Panasonic ambassador? 😊
I had a few days ago the opportunity to test the XH2 + 150-600mm and I was VERY satisfied with the results. FUJI IS REALLY a very good option! It was an enlightened test for me! But… The result: I am even more certain that the M43 is the best system FOR ME and that the Lumix + OM combination offers everything I need and want! Real estate = em1iii + 7-14mm; Wildlife, Travel and Macro = OM1 (OM5) + 12-100 + 40-150 + 300mm; Street = GX80 (Waiting and hoping the PenFii or GX10)+ 9mm + 15mm + 20mm; and Video = GH6 + Leica 10-25mm (eventually in Low light S5ii + 35mm f1.8)
Very interesting to see you with a Fuji camera as a die hard M43 user. I’m also looking to a Fuji XH2 beside my OM1. But I like my 300f4 so much…
I hope for more Fuji experience Videos from you…
Hey Peter, nice video. I agree with almost everything you've said. The top display is a very good addition and OM system can put also one with a few buttons moving. The camera is also great for video features as you pointed out and I'm sure that the sensor in OM-1 is capable of open gate video, I just don't know if it's a processor limitation or the heat management.
The one thing that I don't agree with is the size because you forgot the lenses here.
For example, if you compare 12-40 with 16-55 as a standard zoom pro lens, the Fuji one is almost twice as heavier and bigger than the Olympus/OM System it's almost as big and as heavy as the new Sony 24-70 f/2.8 GM II lens, that is for full frame sensors.
And if we compare the 40-150 with 50-140, The fuji lens is again bigger, not with too much, but the at the long end is much, much, much shorter.
When people ask me why I'm using m4/3 I usually give 40-150 as an example that I don't have such a lens in any other system.
And Fuji APS-C system is with a slightly larger sensor but very big lenses in most cases for the sensor size.
With that said I think that Fuji X-H2s is a great camera and will be a perfect choice for a lot of users, especially hybrid shooters.
