How can you stop prediabetes from developing into diabetes? Let’s talk about it. There is something that occurs before prediabetes called insulin resistance. This is a condition where your body is resisting high levels of insulin. High insulin levels are created from consuming a high-carb diet. Insulin resistance will keep your blood sugar levels appearing normal until you develop prediabetes. However, you’ll still experience symptoms of insulin resistance. Eventually, though, the beta cells that make insulin will not work as well, and you’ll develop prediabetes. If no changes are made, prediabetes can become diabetes very quickly. At this point, you have insulin resistance and high blood glucose (diabetes). Symptoms of diabetes: • Frequent urination • Brain fog • Feeling tired after eating • Frequent eating • Cravings for carbs • Tingling sensation in the hands or feet • Vision problems • Kidney problems • Fatty liver • Belly fat The typical treatment for diabetes is medication. However, the dietary consumption of sugar and carbs is often overlooked. The best ways to prevent diabetes naturally: 1. Replace the carbs in your diet with fat and protein 2. Do intermittent fasting 3. Consume low-starch vegetables 4. Get plenty of trace minerals, B vitamins, vitamin C, and vitamin D 5. Today, I’m going to cover the best natural ways to regrow hair. Whether you’re losing hair, your hair is thinning, or you have alopecia—these tips for hair loss may help. Hair is protein, and protein is made of amino acids. Lysine is a specific amino acid that greatly impacts hair growth. Lysine also helps make hair stronger and more elastic. The best foods for hair growth are foods high in lysine, like red meat and eggs. Consuming six to eight ounces of high-quality protein twice a day will give you the protein you need. Many people experiencing hair loss are low in iron. Red meat and eggs are high in iron, and lysine helps increase iron absorption. When you go through stress, your body’s demand for lysine goes up. If stress is causing you to lose hair, you may want to try increasing your protein consumption. To regrow hair, it’s also crucial to lower your cortisol by reducing your stress. Inflammation or a malabsorption issue in your gut could lead to a deficiency in lysine. Consuming grains or seed oils can lead to inflammation. If you have gut inflammation, you may want to try the carnivore diet. It’s also important to support your gut microbiome because your gut microbes make amino acids. A disruption of your gut flora can cause a disruption in the microbes on your scalp. This can lead to issues like dandruff and skin disorders. A probiotic supplement or probiotic foods may help promote healthy, thick hair. A powerful form of testosterone called DHT has been known to cause hair thinning or hair loss. Zinc is a fantastic natural DHT inhibitor, and it’s in red meat. Lysine also helps inhibit DHT. Lysine is important to support a healthy body and has many other health benefits that may indirectly help with hair loss and support hair growth. Great natural remedies for hair loss are: • Pumpkin seed oil • Green tea extract • Stinging nettle root • Nutritional yeast Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 58, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis and intermittent fasting. Today, I want to cover magnesium threonate or magnesium L-threonate. This is a specific type of magnesium. Threonate transports magnesium across the blood-brain barrier to the hippocampus. The hippocampus is involved in memory, learning, focus, and concentration. People typically take magnesium L-threonate when they want to support the brain. A magnesium deficiency can lead to various issues related to the brain and throughout the body. Benefits of magnesium L-threonate: • It may help reduce worry and anxiety (especially when trying to sleep) • It may help decrease neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration • It’s a calcium regulator and antagonist • It helps maintain and support the blood-brain barrier • It can act as an antioxidant • It helps support BDNF • It may help with androgenic alopecia If you want to use magnesium to support the brain, I would use magnesium threonate. To support other issues like cramping or fatigue or to support the heart, I would take magnesium glycinate. Magnesium citrate can be helpful as well, especially to help prevent kidney stones. Energy drinks aren’t fixing the root cause of your fatigue. Discover the best natural ways to boost your energy. SUBSCRIBE TO MY NEWSLETTER HERE: 🤍 DATA: 🤍 0:00 Introduction: Fatigue explained 1:10 What causes fatigue? 6:34 The best diet to boost energy 11:34 The best foods to increase energy 13:20 How to increase energy 15:35 Learn more about coenzyme Q10 Let’s talk about fatigue—the root cause and how to fix it. It all starts with your mitochondria. The mitochondria are the energy factories deep inside your cells that make ATP. ATP is the energy of the body. Certain foods contribute to the energy-making process of the body more than other foods. It’s almost impossible to extract energy from ultra-processed foods. Important nutrients to support energy include: • Vitamin B1 • Vitamin B2 • Vitamin B3 • Folic acid • Vitamin B12 • Magnesium • Manganese • Selenium • Vitamin C • Coenzyme Q10 A healthy person makes a massive amount of ATP. You generate more ATP when you exercise, but ATP doesn’t get stored. Your body can either store sugar or fat as fuel. Fat is a much more efficient fuel source than sugar. When you go on a low-carb diet and get into ketosis, you become fat-adapted. Once you’re fat-adapted, you can burn fat as fuel a lot easier. This is why the keto diet, with a lot of nutrient-dense foods, is the best diet to increase energy. Exercise is the number one way to produce more mitochondria and boost your energy. This is just one more reason to exercise consistently. Other things to add to increase your energy and get rid of fatigue: • Intermittent fasting • Cold therapy • Phytonutrients Things to avoid to help support healthy energy levels: • Refined sugar and carbohydrates • Stress • Heavy metals • Smoking • Alcohol Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 58, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis and intermittent fasting. Just a little bit of exercise can produce significant health benefits. Learn more about the benefits of exercise and how it affects longevity. Two of the top benefits of exercise include lowering your risk for certain diseases and increasing your longevity—and it doesn’t take much exercise to achieve this. The more fitness you have in your reserve, the more you can counter stress and the more flexibility you can have with your eating plan. The benefits of walking just two to two and a half hours a week can lower your mortality rate by 20 percent. Exercising just 11 minutes a day can lower your mortality rate by 10 percent. Doing three to four short bouts of intense exercise can lower your mortality rate by 40 percent. Eleven bouts of short, intense exercise may lower the risk of cardiovascular disease by 65 percent and cancer by 49 percent. A 10 to 59-minute workout once a week, every week, can decrease your mortality rate by 18 percent. Exercise even supports the mitochondria and helps balance healthy blood sugar levels. Going for a walk after eating may help burn any carbohydrates you eat. But it’s also important to find a form of exercise you enjoy so you won’t procrastinate doing it. Setting a timer and breaking up your day with scheduled small bursts of exercise may be extremely beneficial for your health. A heart rate variability device is a useful tool to help you figure out your fitness level, when you should and shouldn’t exercise, and how long you should exercise. Using a sauna, intermittent fasting, and getting out in nature may also help increase your longevity. Learn more about alternative sweeteners—which ones are fine and which should you avoid? SUBSCRIBE TO MY NEWSLETTER HERE: 🤍 DATA: 🤍 0:00 Introduction: Alternative sweeteners 0:10 Alternative sweeteners vs artificial sweeteners 0:45 A deeper look at sugar-free products 11:35 Understanding different types of sugar 13:35 Get unfiltered health information by signing up for my newsletter Let’s talk about alternative sweeteners. Trying alternative sweeteners when starting the ketogenic diet can make the transition much easier. Notice I said alternative sweeteners and not artificial sweeteners. While alternative sweeteners aren’t completely natural, they are less artificial and less harmful than artificial sweeteners. Keto snacks and desserts often have different kinds of alternative or artificial sweeteners. Trying keto snacks and keto desserts isn’t a bad thing, but it’s crucial to check the ingredients. Just because it’s labeled “keto” doesn’t make it healthy. Out of all of the sweeteners, erythritol and xylitol* are two of the best. But it’s still better to only consume small amounts. Monk fruit and stevia are also great options. However, with stevia, it’s important to make sure that the product doesn’t also contain maltodextrin. Maltodextrin is higher on the glycemic index than sugar. Maltitol, agave nectar, and functional fibers should also be avoided. Including too much of these sugar alcohols (even the good ones) in your diet can cause bloating, fluid retention, diarrhea, and can upset the gut microbiome. They may also prevent you from getting rid of cravings. I think sugar alternatives are great to help a person transition off of consuming sugar and for an occasional treat—but they shouldn’t be consumed on a regular basis. *Pet owners should keep in mind that certain alternative sweeteners, like xylitol, can be highly toxic to animals. Sugar alternatives can be found in a wide range of products and may go by different names. It’s best to keep these types of products far out of reach from your pets. Autophagy has a lot of benefits—but it’s not for everyone! Learn more about autophagy, how to get into autophagy, and who should try to inhibit autophagy. Autophagy is an incredible process. It basically eats up the junk in your body and transforms it into usable things. This “junk” is unusable damaged proteins, which trigger inflammation. It also helps get rid of pathogens and viral antigens. Autophagy is like an anti-aging cleaning system of the body. But it doesn’t just clean things up—it provides raw material to build new cells and provide fuel when you need it. Two major things will stop autophagy: sugar and protein. But, any significant amount of calories will also stop autophagy. Autophagy may act as a strong protective barrier against disease. But, if you already have cancer, autophagy can aid the growth and progression of cancer. Autophagy can help you if you’re healthy and can hurt you if you’re not healthy. Unfortunately, many people wait until they get sick before they utilize strategies like autophagy. The best way to trigger autophagy is to do fasting. You’ll notice more positive benefits from autophagy once you get into about 18 hours of fasting. You’ll notice even more benefits when you get up to 48 to 72 hours of fasting. You can take electrolytes, nutrients, and sea salt, but you shouldn’t consume any calories while fasting. An additional simple strategy to see more benefits from autophagy is to go on a low-sugar, low-carb diet. Consuming a moderate amount of protein is also crucial—not excess protein or low protein. Exercise is important to stimulate autophagy. Aerobic exercise (lower intensity and longer duration) will stimulate autophagy more than high-intensity exercise. But, I suggest doing both forms of exercise for different benefits. Certain phytonutrients and adaptogens can also trigger autophagy to a certain degree. Check out the #1 exercise to lose belly fat and other important tips to get your body to start burning fat instead of storing it. DATA: 🤍 0:00 Introduction: The easiest way to get rid of belly fat 0:10 Exercise for fat loss 0:25 Does reducing calorie intake work? 3:00 How to burn fat 6:55 Adapting to fat burning 9:25 The best exercise for belly fat 13:00 Stem cell therapy 15:35 Learn more about what to eat to lose belly fat! Today, I want to share some essential information on how to get rid of belly fat fast. Exercise contributes to about 15% of belly fat loss, and diet contributes about 85%. The first step to burning fat is to switch the body’s fuel source from glucose to fat. Whether you burn sugar or fat depends on one hormone: insulin. If your insulin goes up, you’ll burn sugar, and you won’t burn fat. If your insulin goes down, then you can burn fat. Fat calories don’t influence insulin to any significant degree. But that doesn’t mean you can just consume unlimited amounts of fat and lose weight. You also have to reduce your carbohydrates to force the body to burn fat. Once you start burning fat fuel, the body will develop a more available type of energy called ketones. Ketones are the byproduct of fat—energy your body can use as fuel. Eating also increases insulin. To get into fat-burning mode, you need to lower your insulin by reducing your carbohydrates and doing intermittent fasting. It’s also important to remember that even a little bit of carbs can stop you from burning fat. Consistency is key with this fat loss program. But, if you do this program 100 percent, your body will become an efficient fat-burning machine. Getting into a state of fat-burning can help reduce insulin resistance, which may help correct a slow metabolism and help you lose stubborn weight. With these problems out of the way, you’ll notice a lot of success when you add exercise. To help improve insulin resistance, try adding one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to your water and drink that two to three times a day using a straw. The best exercise to burn belly fat is walking. Walking can help you lose belly fat even more than doing high-intensity exercise. High-intensity interval training can help improve certain hormones and is essential for building muscle. But walking is better for losing fat. It’s essential to walk an hour or two hours a day. Try using a pedometer and working on increasing your steps to 8,000 to 10,000 steps per day. The most beneficial thing to do is walking along with high-intensity interval training. However, you will get more benefits out of walking. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 58, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis and intermittent fasting. Please Take This SURVEY: 🤍 YouTube has now banned alternative views on health. Here’s what you need to know about this radical new change. 0:00 Introduction: New YouTube ban 0:12 What this new ban means 6:38 The #1 ranking video for the keto diet 12:05 What is your opinion? YouTube has just banned anything related to health that doesn’t align with the general medical consensus. If any information related to health doesn’t agree with the World Health Organization, the video won’t necessarily be taken down, but it may be hard to find. This is supposed to protect viewers against misinformation and promote high-quality health information. But, their definition of misinformation is anything that opposes their viewpoint. I currently have collected 7,607 success stories—I’m helping people. My information is not misinformation. It’s helpful information. Traditional medicine doesn’t work for everyone, and people are looking for inexpensive natural remedies. How are they supposed to find alternative viewpoints or opinions? A lot of people are searching for the keto diet. However, many medical professionals don't really understand nutritional ketosis. Many times, doctors don’t get training in nutrition or alternatives. Yet these are the people who get to control this information. Healthy ketosis is not toxic or dangerous. Ketones are a super fuel and are antioxidants. On the other hand, glucose is dangerous and toxic. I would love to get your opinion on this situation. Please click the link above and go through the survey questions to let me know your opinion on this recent radical change of suppressing alternative viewpoints on health. Learn how to overcome roadblocks keeping you from losing belly fat and how to flatten your stomach fast. Recommended Betaine Hydrochloride: 🛒 🤍 OR 🤍 0:00 Introduction: The fastest way to flatten your stomach 0:25 What are your abs? 1:05 How to get flat abs 1:30 Understanding weight gain and fat loss 3:10 The best foods to get rid of belly fat 4:50 Fat-burning remedies 5:38 Fasting for weight loss 6:00 How to get rid of bloating 8:30 What to do for IBS 8:58 Get rid of stress to reduce belly fat 9:40 Menopause and stubborn weight 9:55 Learn more about the best diet for weight loss! Let’s talk about how to flatten your belly fast. Crunches are not the secret to six-pack abs. To get flat abs and avoid poor posture or back pain at the same time, you need to balance exercises like crunches with other types of exercise, like back exercises. Two of the best types of exercises for belly fat are long walks or hikes and high-intensity interval training (HIIT). While exercise is important, diet is more critical when it comes to losing belly fat. The best fat-burning diet is the Healthy Keto® diet. This is a combination of high-quality protein, low-starch vegetables, and other nutrient-dense, low-carb foods. Intermittent fasting is also beneficial to help you lose weight and get healthy. You may want to add more fat to your diet initially to help you fast for longer periods. But, once you become adapted and start losing fat, you may want to cut back the fat you consume. You can take certain remedies for fat-burning, but realize these won't work unless you also change your diet. A few of the best fat-burning supplements include: • Garcinia Cambogia • Raspberry ketones • Green tea extract • Caffeine • Chili pepper extract In some cases, you might mistake bloating for belly fat. Intermittent fasting can help decrease bloating. Bloating could mean you also need more acid in your stomach. Betaine hydrochloride is the best remedy for bloating caused by a lack of stomach acid. A lack of bile can also create bloating. In this case, you could try taking bile salts. Top foods that cause bloating include: • Fruit • Yogurt • Beans • Grains • Almond flour • Sugar alcohols • Tapioca fiber • Soluble corn fiber • Plant-based green shakes or protein shakes If you have IBS or an inflammatory condition in your gut, you may want to try the carnivore diet for a little while to see if that helps reduce bloating. To flatten your stomach fast, you also need to lower your stress. Walking, physical work, and getting plenty of sleep are great ways to reduce stress. If you’re going into menopause, it’s also essential to support your adrenal glands to help avoid stubborn belly fat down the road. Is fasting dangerous? It can be. Check out the dangers of fasting and how to avoid them. DATA: 🤍 Baby Food Alternatives: 🤍 🤍 🤍 How to Break Your Fast: ▶️ 🤍 ▶️ 🤍 Refeeding Syndrome: ▶️ 🤍 ▶️ 🤍 0:00 Introduction: Is fasting dangerous? 0:10 Benefits of fasting 0:16 Fasting explained 1:15 Dangers of prolonged fasting 13:58 Learn more about how to do intermittent fasting! Today, let’s talk about the benefits and dangers of fasting. Some of the top benefits of fasting include weight loss, cognitive improvements, and enhanced heart function. Most of the dangers of fasting I’m going to cover aren’t related to a 16 to 18-hour fast. This applies more to prolonged fasting, which is when a person fasts for 48 to 72 hours—or even longer. The purpose of eating is not just to get fuel. It’s also to get nutrients. When you’re fasting, you’re restricting nutrients. If your diet isn’t providing you with the nutrients you need when you do eat, you could end up with deficiencies that lead to certain issues. It’s crucial to do a prolonged fast correctly and avoid common mistakes related to the dark side of fasting. The dark side of prolonged fasting: 1. Refeeding syndrome When you come off of a fast, have a small amount of food, wait a couple of hours, and have a little bit more. Avoid overeating or eating carbs. 2. Dirty keto Make sure you consume nutrient-dense, high-quality foods on the keto diet. 3. Not taking nutrients while fasting At the bare minimum, you need to take electrolytes, sea salt, trace minerals, and B vitamins while fasting. 4. Kidney stones Avoid high-oxalate foods if you’re prone to kidney stones. Also, consume at least two and a half liters of fluid a day, and add lemon juice to your water. When you’re back to having meals, consume large salads. 5. Anorexia Anorexia will cause nutritional deficiencies. Instead of fasting, get on the keto diet. 6. Athletes that have not adapted to fat yet Give your body enough time to become fully fat-adapted before attempting prolonged fasting. 7. Fasting for children Fasting isn’t a good idea for children. Eating three meals a day and cutting out snacking may be beneficial for children. Teenagers who are overweight may consider two meals a day without snacking. 8. Not getting enough nutrition while pregnant or lactating Not getting enough nutrients while pregnant or lactating can lead to issues for the mother and child. Choosing a whole-food, natural prenatal vitamin over a synthetic prenatal vitamin is also important. 9. Muscle loss If you’re older and noticing muscle loss, try adding a blend of amino acids to your diet. 10. Ketoacidosis This rare condition occurs in people under very specific circumstances and isn't something most people should be concerned about. Today, I want to cover the first sign of magnesium deficiency. Many people don’t get enough magnesium from their diet, not to mention other factors that deplete magnesium. Magnesium is a cofactor involved in 350 enzymes. A cofactor is something that is required by an enzyme to work. Symptoms of magnesium deficiency: • Cramping • Twitching • Arrhythmia • Osteoporosis • Osteomalacia • Insulin resistance • Insomnia • High cortisol • Depression However, the number one symptom of magnesium deficiency is fatigue. The top cause of low magnesium is not consuming enough magnesium in the diet. Foods rich in magnesium are vegetables and leafy greens. Consuming large salads is a great way to get the magnesium you need. But you can also take a magnesium supplement. If you do take a supplement, consider magnesium glycinate. Other causes of magnesium deficiency: 1. Refined foods 2. Fructose 3. Alcohol 4. Discover how to get to the root of sciatica pain and take your recovery to the next level. DATA: 🤍 🤍 Videos on Sciatica: ▶️ 🤍 ▶️ 🤍 ▶️ 🤍 Video on Collagen: ▶️ 🤍 0:00 Introduction: How to relieve sciatica pain 0:45 Sciatica explained 2:18 Benefits of copper for inflammation and pain 4:30 Copper deficiency and sciatic pain 6:28 Copper deficiency causes 10:12 Natural remedies for sciatica pain 10:47 Foods rich in copper 11:10 Copper supplements 12:24 Make sure you can always find unfiltered health information by signing up for my newsletter! 12:46 Learn more about the best stretches for sciatica! Let’s talk about how to fix sciatica pain. Sciatica is a problem with the sciatic nerve, which is the longest and largest nerve in the body. 90% of sciatica cases involve the discs in your spine. Copper is used topically in many types of natural therapies for inflammation and pain. It’s also used for myeloneuropathy, which can lead to various nerve problems. In many cases, myeloneuropathy is caused by a copper deficiency. Copper is very low-risk, non-toxic, and relatively inexpensive—it’s something many people can try. One of the enzymes that greatly impacts sciatica is the same enzyme that uses copper as an essential cofactor for building collagen. 75% of the outer part of the discs in your spine are made out of collagen. Copper is also used in enzymes involving your nerves and is essential for many other bodily functions. Top causes of copper deficiency: • A lack of copper in the diet • Intense physical exercise (especially at higher altitudes) • Taking a lot of zinc, iron, potassium, or niacin without also taking copper • Consuming enriched flour products • Consuming fluoride from tap water • Taking high amounts of ascorbic acid • Excessive sweating • Sun tanning too often • Stress, high levels of DHEA, or high levels of cortisol • Consuming distilled water • Gastric bypass surgery • Consuming too much sugar, coffee, alcohol, or aspartame A genetic problem with copper absorption can also lead to a deficiency in copper. A copper brace that wraps around the buttocks where the sciatic nerve is or other topical copper remedies may be beneficial for sciatic nerve pain. But ensuring you’re getting enough copper from your diet is also essential. Foods high in copper include: 1. Liver 2. Oysters 3. Shellfish 4. Dark chocolate (sugar-free) 5. Cashews 6. Meat You may also want to consider taking a copper supplement. Remember that if you have a genetic issue related to copper, you may need to take copper supplements in higher amounts. There are seven big mistakes people make when they start intermittent fasting. Today, I’m going to cover what they are and how to avoid them. The biggest intermittent fasting mistakes: 1. Eating too much of the wrong foods when not fasting, like peanut butter, almond flour, and keto bars or desserts • Consume organic Valencia peanut butter. • Consume celery with your peanut butter. • Consume other types of nuts. • Include healthy, high-quality foods in your diet, like meats, eggs, fish, and vegetables. 2. Not doing keto and intermittent fasting together • Doing keto and intermittent fasting together will make fasting easier and boost your results. 3. Doing low-result patterns of fasting • Choose a pattern that includes one to two meals a day with no snacks between your meals. • Try to go as long as you can before you have your first meal. • Try to make your eating window only two to four hours and your fasting period at least 20. 4. Stuffing yourself • Your body consumes your own fat when you’re not eating food. • Don’t worry about how many calories you need to consume. Instead, just think about what you feel comfortable eating in your meal. 5. Not taking B vitamins and electrolytes • Your body demands more B vitamins and electrolytes when you’re fasting. • Get B vitamins from a natural source like nutritional yeast. • Consume a high-quality electrolyte product with high amounts of potassium and no hidden maltodextrin. 6. Not doing the healthy version of the keto diet • Avoid dirty keto and do Healthy Keto® instead. 7. Stopping if they plateau • You may lose more weight at first because it’s water weight. After you lose water weight, your weight loss may slow, but you’re burning fat—this is normal. • There are things you can do to speed up the process, like fasting longer, cutting your carbs lower, doing periodic prolonged fasting, exercising, sleeping longer, reducing stress, and taking berberine or cinnamon. Find out why you can’t lose belly fat. Hint: it might not be sugar! DATA: 🤍 🤍 🤍 Are there any benefits to Alcohol? ▶️ 🤍 0:00 Introduction: Why can’t I lose belly fat? 1:05 The #1 thing that will stop you from losing belly fat 1:20 Is alcohol keto-friendly? 2:50 How alcohol causes belly fat 4:10 The truth about alcohol benefits 4:25 Other problems with alcohol 7:18 Action steps 9:50 Learn more about how to get rid of belly fat! Let’s talk about why you can’t lose belly fat. If you’re exercising, doing keto and intermittent fasting, and you still can’t get rid of belly fat—this may be why. One of the top things that will stop you from losing belly fat is alcohol consumption. You may have heard of keto-friendly wine or that pure alcohol is keto-friendly. Pure alcohol is not a carb or sugar and doesn’t directly increase your blood sugar or insulin. However, indirectly, it can create severe insulin resistance. Liver cells treat alcohol like poison and try to get rid of it. The toxicity of the alcohol injures the liver cells and can even kill them. During this process, you develop fat in the liver cells, which can lead to a fatty liver. With a fatty liver, you can also experience inflammation and scarring in the liver. Chronic inflammation and scarring can then cause cirrhosis and increase your risk of liver cancer and other liver problems. Alcohol also blocks your ability to burn fat. Don’t expect to burn fat for 48 to 72 hours after alcohol consumption. It’s a source of empty calories and depletes important nutrients. You’ve probably heard that there are certain benefits of drinking alcohol in moderation. But, recently, they’ve found that was only a marketing tactic, and there are no benefits to drinking alcohol. Alcohol also has negative effects on other parts of the body, including: • The brain • The endocrine system • The gut microbiome • The heart • Estrogen production in men (increases estrogen and decreases testosterone) It’s crucial to realize the negative effects of alcohol and consider the real reasons you’re drinking alcohol, like stress. Many natural things can help you reduce stress. If you can’t give up alcohol, try diluting it with sparkling water. If you take milk thistle before drinking, it can help protect the liver against poison and can help support the liver. Kombucha tea with low amounts of sugar is also a great alternative to alcohol and gives you a nice, relaxed feeling. Learn why you need such high amounts of potassium to support a healthy body. DATA: 🤍 🤍 0:00 Introduction: How much potassium do you need? 0:10 Potassium explained 0:48 Potassium RDAs 3:03 Potassium supplements 3:30 Potassium deficiency 3:50 Potassium deficiency symptoms 4:47 Potassium deficiency causes 8:15 My potassium challenge 8:38 Learn more about potassium! Let’s talk about the importance of potassium and what can happen if you don’t get enough. Your body requires a lot of potassium. The daily requirement for potassium is 4700 mg. Potassium is important for the sodium-potassium pump. The sodium-potassium pump is like a battery for your cells. Vegetables are the best source of potassium. One cup of leafy greens provides between 500 and 800 mg of potassium. If you consumed five to ten cups of vegetables daily, you would get plenty of potassium. In comparison, a banana only provides about 300 mg of potassium. Bananas also contain a lot of fructose. Unfortunately, the average person is not getting enough potassium from their diet—and potassium supplements typically only give you up to 99 mg of potassium per tablet. Potassium deficiency is often overlooked. It’s difficult to diagnose, and symptoms of a potassium deficiency are sometimes vague. Early symptoms often include difficulty breathing, fatigue, and heart palpitations. A more severe deficiency in potassium can lead to the following: • High blood pressure • Increased risk of stroke • Fluid retention or edema • Bone loss • Kidney stones Causes of potassium deficiency that go beyond a lack of potassium in the diet can include: • Penicillin • Diuretics • Steroids • Chronic stress • High insulin (high-carb diet) • Refined or processed foods Even the keto diet and prolonged fasting can lead to a potassium deficiency if not done correctly. You will lose potassium as you lose water weight on keto. Consuming enough potassium on keto and taking a potassium supplement while doing a prolonged fast is crucial. Eating too much too quickly after a prolonged fast or consuming too many carbs after a prolonged fast can also cause a severe potassium deficiency, which can be dangerous. My challenge for you is to start consuming a lot of foods high in potassium, like leafy greens, for one week and see how you feel. I think you're going to notice a big difference. Stop avoiding red meat! Learn more about the benefits of red meat, especially for healing and repair. US Wellness Meats: 🤍 Different Proteins for Different Body Conditions: ▶️ 🤍 Recommended Betaine Hydrochloride: 🛒 🤍 0:00 Introduction: The best food to support repair 1:32 Why red meat is the best protein for healing 3:30 Benefits of red meat 8:13 What to do if you have problems digesting red meat 10:23 Discover the best protein sources for certain health conditions! Today, I want to cover the best food to support healing and repair: red meat. Not only does red meat have the most protein, but it also has some other amazing benefits. Other types of protein, like eggs and salmon, are beneficial—but red meat is the best to support healing. Of all the things needed for the repair or healing process, amino acids are among the most important. Red meat is more bioavailable and is a more concentrated source of amino acids than other types of protein. It also contains more iron, magnesium, zinc, B vitamins, vitamin K, and omega-3 fatty acids than eggs. This doesn’t include processed meat from factory farms. It’s crucial to get high-quality grass-fed, grass-finished red meat. Red meat also contains four important additional nutrients for healing, repair, and recovery: 1. Carnitine 2. Creatine 3. Carnosine 4. Coenzyme Q10 People who have difficulty digesting red meat typically have low stomach acid. Even if you don’t like the taste of red meat, it may be because you have low stomach acid. Betaine hydrochloride may be beneficial to help strengthen your stomach acid. You can try taking three to five betaine hydrochloride supplements before a meal for about one month. However, if you tend to have excess iron, red meat may not be for you. Instead, you could try consuming more poultry or eggs. Does dieting cause a slow metabolism? Learn more about metabolism and discover the best diet for stubborn weight. For more details on this topic, check out the full article on the website: ➡️ 🤍 DATA: 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 0:00 Introduction: Metabolism and weight loss 1:05 Do diets slow your metabolism? 3:45 Calorie restriction 5:45 Intermittent fasting vs. calorie restriction 9:27 Traditional diets vs. keto diets 11:22 Metabolic confusion diet 13:28 Learn more about the best diet for stubborn weight! Let’s talk about why it’s so difficult for some people to lose weight and keep it off. Dieting is similar to famine. If you have difficulty losing weight because you’ve dieted for many years, your body is likely compensating for survival purposes. You don’t have a slow metabolism—you have an enhanced metabolic efficiency. Once you understand the right problem, you can attack it with a better solution. People who restrict calories are more susceptible to nutrient deficiencies, which can affect their hormones. Your body can also adapt to lower amounts of calories, causing it to burn less fat, making it harder to lose weight. Intermittent fasting differs from calorie restriction for a few reasons. When done correctly, you have less hunger and fewer cravings with intermittent fasting. Intermittent fasting also has unique health benefits that you can't get with a calorie-restrictive diet. It’s important to do the Healthy Keto® diet along with intermittent fasting so you don’t create imbalances in the body. You also adapt your body to run on ketones when you do intermittent fasting. This is a situation where you’re burning your own fat. Even though you might indirectly reduce your calories by consuming fewer meals, your body still burns fat fuel. If you do calorie restriction without going low-carb, you could easily find yourself in a situation where you can't tap into your fat. Instead, you may tap into your muscles because your carbs and insulin are too high. If you have high insulin, you can’t burn fat. I don’t consider the Healthy Keto plan and intermittent fasting a diet because you can easily do this long-term. This is a lifestyle change that doesn’t even feel like a diet. Healthy Keto and intermittent fasting have incredible benefits to support your health and weight loss. But, if you find it difficult to do the Healthy Keto diet, you may want to try the metabolic confusion diet for a little while until you feel ready to take on the Healthy Keto diet with intermittent fasting. This is the best meal to detox the liver! DATA: 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 0:00 How to detox your liver 0:10 Liver detox vs. cleanse 0:43 Understanding liver detoxification 9:55 The best foods to detox the liver 12:53 Learn more about how to get rid of a fatty liver! Let's talk about the best meal to detox the liver. It's important to keep in mind that a liver detox is very different from a liver cleanse. Liver "cleanses" won't help you clean your liver in any significant way. But supporting your natural detoxification process may be beneficial. Your liver has two phases of detoxification that help get rid of toxins. The goal of this detoxification process is to turn poisons into harmless water-soluble particles. Some people have a genetic problem with particular detoxification enzymes. This can make you more susceptible to damage from certain toxins. A DNA test can give you the information you need to avoid a certain toxin and better support detoxification. Fixing your diet is the best way to support liver detoxification. You don't need a short-term detox or cleanse. You need to make certain foods that support the liver a part of your regular diet. The best meal for liver detox: • Eggs cooked with onions, garlic, and sea salt • Cruciferous vegetables • Kefir with walnuts and low-carb, no-sugar chocolate chips • Add herbs to your meal like thyme, sage, oregano, cayenne pepper, turmeric, and rosemary Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 58, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Clove may help with health concerns from bloating to depression. Learn more about the incredible benefits of clove! DATA: 🤍 0:00 Introduction: Health benefits of clove 0:10 Clove explained 1:30 Clove benefits 4:25 Side effects of clove 5:05 Discover the benefits of garlic! Let’s talk about the incredible health benefits of clove. Clove is natural, and there is a lot of interesting research on using it to promote a healthy body. One of the most common ways to use clove is as a numbing agent for a toothache. The essential oil in clove called eugenol produces many benefits. But it also contains a lot of other phytonutrients. You can use clove oil or simply chew and swallow a piece of clove. You can also use clove oil topically on the scalp for fungus or pathogens. It may even help reduce the toxicity created as a byproduct of fungus. Clove may help enhance the effects of an antibiotic, allowing you to use lower amounts of it. Clove oil may also help inhibit H. pylori and improve peptic ulcers, gastritis, indigestion, gas, and bloating. A certain phytonutrient in clove is an MAO inhibitor. MAO inhibitors are used as antidepressants. Clove even has anti-inflammatory effects, and data shows it has anticancer properties. Clove is relatively safe, but consuming too much clove oil could create a toxic effect. You should avoid clove if you are allergic to it or are pregnant or lactating. This is the best meal to clean out your arteries. But, it goes against what you’ve been told. DATA: 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 🤍 0:00 Introduction: How to clean out the arteries 0:22 Your microbiome and your arteries 2:54 An important vitamin for the arteries 6:02 The best foods for the arteries 8:05 The best meal to clean out the arteries 9:20 Learn more about supporting the arteries! Today I want to share the best meal to clean out your arteries. There is an interesting connection between your microbiome and your arteries. In mice studies, when the mice lack a healthy gut microbiome, they tend to develop a lot of inflammation. Inflammation in the arteries triggers a cascade of damaging effects. An overall imbalance of the microorganisms in the body can also lead to various problems in the arteries. One of the most important vitamins for the arteries is vitamin K2. Vitamin K2 helps keep calcium buildup out of the arteries. The microbes in your gut have the ability to make vitamin K2, but fermented foods and fatty foods are also rich in vitamin K2. Keep in mind that vitamin K2 works better when taken with vitamin D3. For every 100 mcg of vitamin K2, consider taking 10,000 IU of vitamin D3. Probiotics are crucial to support healthy arteries, and your friendly microbes are your natural probiotics. It’s important to support your microbiome and avoid sterile foods like pasteurized and over-processed foods. The best meal to clean out the arteries: • Brie cheese • Fatty pork sausage • Sauerkraut Each of these foods is fermented and loaded with vitamin K2. Give them a try, and start adding other alive and fermented foods to your diet. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 58, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. SUBSCRIBE TO MY NEWSLETTER HERE: 🤍 0:00 Introduction: Vitamin A explained 0:10 Vitamin A and your skin 1:50 Symptoms of vitamin A deficiency 2:18 Symptoms of too much vitamin A 2:52 Vitamin A toxicity 3:10 Synthetic vitamin A 4:16 The best sources of vitamin A 5:25 Causes of vitamin A deficiency 6:30 Accutane 7:16 What to do for vitamin A toxicity 7:43 Get unfiltered health information by signing up for my newsletter Let’s talk about vitamin A—the benefits of vitamin A and the dark side. Vitamin A is a non-keratinizing vitamin. Keratinization is a condition that causes skin issues. Both a vitamin A deficiency and excess vitamin A can affect the internal and external skin in many ways. Vitamin A is involved in supporting the immune system as well. There is an association between vitamin A deficiency and autoimmune conditions like Graves’ and Hashimoto’s. Vitamin A also allows iodine to be absorbed. Signs of vitamin A deficiency: • Poor night vision • Blindness • Dry eyes • Poor immunity • Skin problems • Bone issues Signs of too much vitamin A: • Abnormal bone formation • Dry lips • Dry skin • Double vision • Alopecia • Oily skin • Peeling skin • Heart valve calcification • Hypercalcemia • Intracranial pressure Vitamin A toxicity is rare, but taking a synthetic vitamin A supplement may increase your risk. Synthetic vitamin A may also increase the risk of lung cancer. Accutane, a form of synthetic vitamin A, has serious potential side effects. I suggest getting your vitamin A from food sources or natural food-based supplements. Foods high in vitamin A (retinol): • Cod liver oil • Egg yolks • Grass-fed butter • Grass-fed cheese • Liver Beta carotene is the precursor to the active form of vitamin A (retinol). Beta carotene is in foods like carrots and spinach. But, If you’re relying on beta carotene alone to get your vitamin A or if you have a liver or gallbladder issue, you could be deficient in vitamin A. Let’s talk about oxalates and the best ways to flush out oxalates to help prevent kidney stones. Signs your oxalate levels are high: • Kidney stones • Gout • Headaches • Eye pain • Urinary pain • Genital pain • Muscle pain • Intestinal pain Foods high in oxalates: • Almonds • Peanuts • Spinach • Chocolate • Kiwi • Strawberries • Beets • Tea • Bran Dietary oxalates aren’t correlated with oxalates in your urine. Just because you consume foods high in oxalates doesn’t mean you will develop any problems. But, preexisting damage to your kidneys, liver, or metabolism can cause you to be unable to process oxalates like you should. Diabetes, prediabetes, insulin resistance, and carb consumption can lead to kidney problems. A lack of certain microbes can also prevent you from breaking down oxalates, causing them to end up in the kidneys. Many people who go on the ketogenic diet no longer have a problem dealing with oxalates. But if you’re still experiencing issues, you can try these tips. What to do if you have high oxalate levels or are prone to kidney stones: 1. Limit foods high in oxalates or consume them with cheese 2. Take a probiotic with a mixture of lactobacillus 3. Maintain higher levels of magnesium and citrates (by consuming magnesium and lemon) 4. Get plenty of vitamin D 5. LINK TO DONATE HERE: 🤍 Over 50,000 of you filled out a survey regarding YouTube’s radical new change to suppress alternative viewpoints on health. Here are the results. 0:00 Introduction: Thank you for filling out this survey! 0:20 Summarizing the YouTube censorship survey 5:32 YouTube’s reply 6:14 What can we do? Thank you so much for filling out the censorship survey. I really appreciate it—your opinions are so valuable to me. Over 50,000 people filled out this survey. The great majority of people overwhelmingly disagreed with this new change YouTube has made. People want to choose their own health journey, and they don’t need someone else to choose it for them. This is very important to people because they want to have alternative options to look into—natural, non-toxic options. People trust a reliable source of information for their health. A reliable source should have knowledge and experience in the subject. But, the great majority of medical professionals don’t have experience with the ketogenic diet, alternative healthcare, or nutrition. There is a large organization called the Alliance for Natural Health that is committed to fighting against free speech on health. This is an organization I’m happy to get behind, and I encourage you to do so as well. This is something that affects everyone. If you’re able to, consider donating to this cause.
