Gracias hombre !!!
Panasonic's prices drop faster like now the GH6 is 1700
ignoring bayer filter. are sensor of Panasonic GH6, and of Fuji XH2, from same wafer? both have pixel pitch of 3.0 micron.
The gh6 look soft compared to the Fuji. Maybe it’s the lenses differences but it’s weird cause it’s 5.7k camera. I Expected the gh6 to be sharper
Great as usual but missing to compare recording mediums??? GH6 can use SSD and I hear Fuji has only little SDs? For ProRes LT what can you fit on a 512 SD?
FUJIFILM X-H2S is still 3200 Canadian when gh6 can be bought for 2000$ Canadian
Did dpreview already review the 18-120? Would be interesting to get Jordan's opinion on it.
ancient Fuji X-T200: 2.76 million dot screen...new top cameras for video...
Now I need an xh2s vs s5II video in the same way. That Fuji image quality is really nice.
Fuji is so superior to the photography department that is not even comparable. As for video, they’re close.
How is Xh2s with firmware 3.0 update, can you do a quick update
You are the best
Shouldn't you have mentioned the X-H2S's open gate recording capability? Also the MKX zooms are fantastic video centric optics. Just sayin'
The GH6 has way too many video features (especially audio features) for an amateur. You need a product slightly below that.
Here’s the G9 Mark II blueprints for your engineering department: G9 + uncropped 4K 60fps 10 bit video feature.
Make it happen.
Great video Jordan. Seems both are great, and I think for me I’d go for the gh6 if I wanted mostly a video camera, and the fuji if it was my do all camera.
The video kinda necitates the need for a “what are the best fuji video lenses” video. Bit of a minefield.
U forget about open gate, price of lens and gear. Both cam is awesome, but price/quality - gh6 win. If u wanna anamorphic lens - gh6 with open gate win. If u wanna social media and vertical video gh6 win. Slowmo - food or sport gh6 win. YouTube or photo - fuji win. Wedding - gh6 win. Small budget cinema - gh6 win, cause manual focus and u work with light no problem with dinamic range. I think it's strange review... Spec of camera doesn't matter before u don't know what r u shoot.
I regard you as best camera reviewer. You have got the exact vision to choose the best picture quality.
The DPReview Raw Dynamic Range Exposure comparison isn't fair at in that the GH6 is NOT an ISO invariant camera. Even 5 year old Panasonic GX850 would blow away the GH6 in this respect. For photography, you MUST expose the files properly and not expose 5 stops under and raise it in post.
Interesting review, but I was wondering why you shot the Fuji in 4k but the GH6 in 1080P mode, until I realized all of its shots were significantly front focused.
That Fuji is *sharp*.
